Athletic
Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct
an initial assessment of an athlete's injury or illness in order to provide
emergency or continued care, and to determine whether they should be referred
to physicians for definitive diagnosis and treatment. Evaluate athletes'
readiness to play, and provide participation clearances when necessary and
warranted.
Salary:
35,000-75,000$
Education: More than 70 percent of certified athletic
trainers hold at least a master’s degree. Athletic trainers (ATs) are health
care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative
services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and
rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
Reflection:
I would like to become
one because it looks pretty fun and interesting to become and I would be able
to make a good amount of money for helping famous athletes.
