Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities: To
protect the environment, public health, and safety of San Diego County
residents through permit, inspection, consultation, planning, investigation and
enforcement activities in a wide variety of program areas including food,
housing, water quality, recreational health, land use, site assessment and
mitigation, solid waste, hazardous materials and vector control surveillance;
and to perform related work as required.
Salary: 70,512-84,489.60/year
Education: Track A- Environment
Health Degree Track
Track B- Bachelor’s Degree Track
Track C- “In Training” Track
Reflection: I would not like to
become one of these because it does not interest me in any way.
