may explain nutrition issues to clients, assess the dietary and health need of
clients, develop meal plans for clients, gauge the effects of these meal plans,
promote nutrition through public speaking and community outreach programs, and
keep abreast of the research in nutrition and food sciences.
Salary: 46,799-67,324$
Education: Dietitians study a variety of
subjects, ranging from food and nutrition sciences, food service systems
management, business, economics, computer science, culinary arts, sociology and
communication to science courses such as biochemistry, physiology, microbiology,
anatomy and chemistry.
